Young Designers meet Rosenthal

Rosenthal GmbH in co-operation with the German Design Council has brought to live a new competition for design students starting winter semester 2003/2004. Five european universities have been invited to take part in the first round entitled "Generations":

  -  Les Ateliers ENCSI Paris
  -  Royal College of Art London
  -  Politecnico di Milano
  -  Universität der Künste Berlin
  -  Konstfack, University College of Arts Crafts and Design, Stockholm

Rosenthal is proud to have won internationally rewarded designers as "advisors" at each of the universities to guide the participants in means of back-up information and fabrication processes: Erwan Bouroullec, Patrizia Cucco, Martino Gamper,, Konstantin Grcic and Michael Young. In the future the competition will be held every second year to continue the traditional support of young designers over more than two decades now. The company also takes leadership internationally in innovative, avantgarde product design.
